I am thrilled to be entering my fourth year as Principal for Village Elementary School.  I come to York after spending 14 years at Waterboro Elementary School.  I began my career as an educational technician supporting students in literacy and math.   I taught first and second grade for seven years, and six years working as the literacy coach at Waterboro Elementary.  I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington with my Bachelor's in Education and the University of Southern Maine for both my Master's in Literacy and my Certificate of Advanced Studies in Educational Leadership.  I have spent my entire life in southern Maine and currently reside in Limington, ME with my husband Kris and two young girls, Sydney age 9 and Ava age 7.

Entering my fourth year feels great as I have become part of this wonderful community of York.   I look forward to continuing my collaboration with staff and the community to provide a successful educational experience for all students.  I feel privileged to be here in York.

If we have not had a chance to meet, I encourage you to stop by and introduce yourself.
