New Student Registration


Welcome to York Schools!
We look forward to meeting you and your child. To begin the registration process, please click the registration link.

ALL parents will be asked to provide 2 proofs of residency - current lease agreement, current mortgage statement, purchase and sales agreement, current tax bill, current rent receipt, current utility bill or a bill dated within the past 30 days.

To be enrolled in Kindergarten, your child must be five (5) years of age on or before October 15th. If entering Kindergarten, your student’s *original birth certificate and up-to-date immunization records and physical exam MUST be provided BEFORE your child's first day of school.

*An original birth certificate may also be requested by other grade level schools

What to expect:

  1. Complete Registration Request form (1 page).

  2. If pre-registering for Kindergarten or 1st grade, please contact Village Elementary School directly to continue the registration process at 207-363-4870.

  3. If registering for 2nd-12th grade, your child's pre-registration form will be processed by school staff and you will receive more information regarding next steps via email.

  4. Students will not be enrolled into a class or classes until the registration process is COMPLETE.

  5. If you have any questions, call the front office of your child's enrolling school.

Returning Student Registration

All returning students are required to complete Back to School Registration forms. These forms will be open to parents/guardians the first week in August. Parents will receive an email letting them know that the forms are available.

Students entering Grades 5 and 9 will be asked to provide 2 proofs of residency - current lease agreement, current mortgage statement, purchase and sales agreement, current tax bill, current rent receipt, current utility bill or a bill dated within the past 30 days. As part of the registration process, you will be able to upload pdfs or photos of your proofs or residency.
